Workshop and culinary tour

2026 Oaxaca Tour

Oaxaca is one of Mexico’s most vital cultural centers, where Indigenous knowledge, historic architecture, and contemporary artistic practice exist in living continuity. Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, the city offers a rare convergence of art, craft, gastronomy, and daily ritual, culture not preserved, but practiced.

Presented by the Glassell School of Art in collaboration with Patrick Palmer and Valentina Atkinson of Oaxaca Serrano Contemporary Art Gallery.

Oaxaca becomes a place of meaningful study. Master artisans, time-honored techniques, and a culinary tradition as layered as its visual language reveal a landscape where art remains inseparable from land and community.
